One day while working around the house I had a classic country station playing on my computer, and I overheard this song… “What a GREAT song for the Gris!<\/em>” says I!\u00a0 It went over biggest when we performed it at the 17 July 2010 Yale Summer Cabaret<\/a>, and occasionally we pull it out on a Monday evening…<\/p>\n

It was composed and recorded by Tom T. Hall<\/a>, country music star in 1975, and I hope that he is amused that his song has migrated to the sea song\/pub song circuit!<\/p>\n
