Coming ’round the Mountain

Coming ‘round the Mountain, as we sing it, is a classic result of what happens when a rugby team drinks and gets a hold of your traditional songs.  Not for children!

Gothic She’ll be coming ‘round the mountain when she comes.   If she comes.
She’ll be coming ‘round the mountain when she comes.   If she comes.
She’ll be coming ‘round the mountain. Coming ‘round the mountain.
Coming ‘round the mountain when she comes.   If she comes.

Chorus after each verse:

Singing!
I will, if you will, so will I!  So will I!
Singing!
I will, if you will, so will I!  So will I!
Singing!
I will if you will.  I will if you will.
I will, if you will, so will I!  So will I!

What about……”I’d like to give her a baby Austin car. I’d like to give her a baby……..”

Also……”I’d like to knock her off the harbour bridge. I’d like to knock her off……”

    Well done boys :)
Hope you still sing that song.
    We had 2 more verses:
„She‘s got a lovely country house in Spain“ and „She‘s got a lovely astrophysics book”

    Cheers from Germany

Jos, there was also a verse about a country estate, but that probably wouldn’t go down well in mixed company!

The other verses we sang as kids and followed after the equivalent ones above were, I’d like to feel her pussy willow bush, stroke her beaver coloured coat and pinch her bottom set of teeth

Ya know, we do too! I don’t know why I hadn’t included it in the verses… I’ll correct that, thank you, Robert!
