Don’t despair!  The storm is already expected to be less than they had thought merely a day ago!  And that aside, it won’t affect Monday but for messy sidewalks!  Beer/rum/wine, the fire in the hearth, and good camaraderie is what you need!

So this coming Saturday the 16th, we’re playing at Café Nine (on the corner of State and Crown streets) in New Haven – the objective, to raise funds for the city’s St-Patrick’s Day parade.  We’ll arrive to set up around 8:00, the show begins around 9:30 with the band Buzz Gordo’s Ski Lodge and then we’ll do a couple of sets.  It’s a bar, so only 21 and older, please.  Come on down, all our fans from the New Haven area – this is another opportunity to participate with us on your home turf!  Check the flier here for details.

The Yuletide season upon us, it is important to remind you that every Monday this month we start about a half hour later to accommodate the wonderfully talented wandering carolers during the dinner hours.  And while we typically do not offer much by way of Christmas songs, we know that you enjoy adding your voices to the chorus of our myriad sea chanteys and forebitters!!  From Cliff, Tim, Rick, and Joseph – We usually say merry Christmas but whatever your holiday is for the season may it be safe, joyous, and your heart filled with song – most especially along with us!  And watch out for that mistletoe!

Sunday the 6th is Cliff’s birthday!  Come on down and celebrate with us on Monday!

This weekend we’re playing a private party in Chester and then on Monday Tim will be away at a prior engagement, but back the following Monday.  This past Monday it was really nice that you all were in the mood to have us perform some of our more obscure songs and less frenetic selections for the first set, thank you!  And we don’t get in an update beforehand, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween being past, we’re preparing for our return to the Gryphon Pub at GPSCY, Yale Campus, New Haven.  Saturday 7 Nov, 9 – midnight!  While their regulars have gotten largely used to us, there will be new people, too… You can come on down and show them the ropes!

Monday – 26 of October – will be our Jovial Crew Halloween night!  Always the best way to raise your spirits!!  It would be horrible should you attend without proper attire so come your ghoulish best!  SPREAD THE WORD!!!
