A couple of pics from last night’s performance…
We have the honour of having heard from The Jovial Crew located in Gloucestershire, UK! A fun group of people engaged not only in song but in dances and mummers plays! Their “chief cat herder” is Robin Burton. Truly a jovial crew!
28th – Tuesday. 6:30p Keeney Memorial Cultural Center, 200 Main St., Wethersfield, CT. We’re performing as part of their River, Land, and Sea Cultural Series. If it should rain, we’ll be inside to the ballroom of the Center. Family-friendly event!
We are part of a stellar lineup of performers slated for the first Connecticut Sea Music Festival to be held in Essex, CT on 10 – 13 June! A Friday symposium at the public library followed by an evening concert (we’re the final act); Saturday and Sunday workshops/performances in several locations in the village with an evening concert on Saturday and a wrap-up concert Sunday afternoon. Monday is the day of rest but at the public library at 4 there will be a presentation regarding the British attack of Essex in 1814, and then in the evening we will have our “Survivor’s Night” in the Griswold Inn!

With the rates of Covid in Connecticut, people have begun to get really nervous about singing in a bar. Then two of us fell ill, another staying away pending some outpatient surgery… We won’t be there tonight – 3 January – but we’ll see what next week brings.
